Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
This notice explains how information is handled through mouldremoval-melbourne.com.au and enquiries made using the contact details on this website. You can browse the public pages without creating an account. For questions about this notice or information you have provided, call 03 8652 1296.
Information you choose to provide
When you enquire about a service, you may provide your name, telephone number, contact details, suburb or property address, photographs and a description of the affected areas. Provide only information relevant to your enquiry. Avoid sending identity documents, payment card details, medical records or photographs that unnecessarily identify other people. If a photograph includes private belongings or documents, remove those details before sharing it where practical.
The public website currently provides telephone contact rather than an online checkout or public customer account system. An enquiry does not require you to enter payment card information on this website. Any additional collection through a future form, payment facility or other service should be explained when that facility is introduced.
Why information is used
Information provided with an enquiry is used to respond, understand the affected surfaces and access requirements, discuss availability and scope, and arrange services that you request. Relevant details may also be needed to manage an agreed appointment, respond to a concern and maintain appropriate business records. Please tell us if the information you previously supplied is inaccurate or your contact arrangements change.
Making an enquiry is not permission to send unrelated advertising. Any marketing subscription introduced on the website should explain what you will receive and provide a way to stop it. This website does not currently display a marketing sign-up form.
Technical information from website visits
The hosting and security systems may process technical request information, such as an IP address, requested page, time of access, browser information and security events. This supports delivery of the website, troubleshooting and protection against misuse. These records are distinct from information you voluntarily provide when discussing a property.
The website uses HTTPS to protect information in transit. Access controls and security measures are used for the website, but no internet service can promise complete security. Avoid including sensitive information in a general enquiry when it is not needed to arrange the requested service.
Cookies and browser storage
WordPress may use essential cookies for functions such as an authorised administrator’s login and security. Ordinary public browsing does not require a customer account. The privacy panel stores your choice locally in your browser under the key mouldPrivacyChoice. That preference contains a choice, its date and a settings version; it is not a customer profile or an advertising identifier.
The preference is treated as expired after six months, after which the panel asks again. You can change it using the Cookie settings button, or clear the website’s storage in your browser. If your browser prevents storage, your choice may need to be made again on a subsequent visit. Essential website functions remain available when optional features are declined.
No analytics or advertising tags are enabled by this notice. If optional tracking is added later, this notice and the controls should be updated before those features are activated. Accepting the external map does not give blanket permission for unrelated tracking.
Optional external map
The suburb map uses an embedded OpenStreetMap service. It is blocked until you allow external maps in the privacy panel. If you allow it, your browser contacts that provider, which can receive technical information including your IP address and browser details. The provider’s own privacy practices apply to those requests and may involve infrastructure outside Australia.
You can use the service information, suburb links and telephone contact without loading the map. Withdrawing the map preference stops further embedded map loading from this website; it cannot undo information already sent or delete records held by the external provider. Following an ordinary external link also takes you to a separate website with its own practices.
Service providers and disclosure
Website hosting, security and other necessary service providers may handle information to operate the website or support a requested service. Relevant enquiry or appointment information may need to be shared with people involved in delivering the work you authorise. Information may also need to be disclosed where required by law or to address a legitimate security or legal issue.
Please ask before supplying information if you need to know who will receive a particular document or photograph. This notice does not claim that all processing takes place in Australia or identify an overseas destination that has not been confirmed. Where an additional provider or transfer is relevant to your enquiry, ask for the applicable details before sending sensitive material.
Retention and your requests
Different records may need to be kept for different purposes, including handling an appointment, accounting, resolving a concern and meeting applicable legal requirements. This notice does not promise a fixed deletion date for every record. You can ask what information relating to your enquiry is held, request correction and request deletion where appropriate; legal or operational requirements may affect what can be removed.
Call 03 8652 1296 to raise a privacy question, access or correction request, or complaint. Explain the information or interaction concerned without providing unnecessary sensitive details. Verification may be needed before information is released or changed, so that one person’s enquiry is not disclosed to another person.
Changes and further information
This page will be updated when website features or relevant information-handling arrangements change. The date above identifies the latest published version. Your browser preference concerns optional website features; it does not remove privacy rights that apply under Australian law.
The Office of the Australian Information Commissioner provides information about Australian privacy rights and available complaint processes. Whether a particular Privacy Act obligation applies depends on the circumstances; this notice does not claim an unverified exemption or certification.
