SURFACE TREATMENT · MOISTURE FOLLOW-THROUGH
Mould Remediation Bellfield
If someone else will meet the technician at your Bellfield premises, agree the room scope and contact responsibilities first. Providing a key is different from approving changes to treatment. Make sure visible surfaces, known wetting and excluded belongings are understood without expecting the entry contact to guess what was agreed.

TREATMENT & FOLLOW-THROUGH
UNDERSTANDING THE AFFECTED ROOM
Two contacts should work from the same proposed scope
Describe the exposed growth and identify who can approve the job and who will provide entry. Share any access limitation or fragile finish before the visit. If the entry contact does not know the moisture history, say so rather than expecting them to diagnose it or approve additional areas by assumption.
Our remediation service treats existing visible accessible structural contamination through assessment, filtration, treatment and removal. It excludes furniture and textiles. Agree how any scope question reaches the authorised person, while keeping concealed investigation, repairs and decorating separate from the room treatment.

MOISTURE & CONTAMINATION
Keep known moisture information available
Give observed wetting dates and relevant repairs to the person coordinating the enquiry. A professional hygrometer measures room-air relative humidity; it cannot establish moisture inside a lining or replace missing history with a diagnosis. Unknown details should remain acknowledged rather than filled in by whoever meets the technician.
Discuss accessible inspection if the visible condition needs clarification. Separate plumbing or structural repairs may be required. Treatment addresses current contamination, but continuing wetting can allow recurrence, so identify who can arrange the practical source response afterwards.
A DEFINED TREATMENT SEQUENCE
Treatment with clear communication at each stage
1
Assess the accessible surfaces
Show visible growth and explain the agreed room information. Confirm scope and any material or access concern with the authorised contact where necessary.
2
Prepare HEPA air protection
A HEPA air scrubber is established before treatment. The entry arrangement should allow equipment access and clearance; filtration is not a substitute for people and pets leaving.

3
Apply appropriate HOCl treatment
HOCl follows the assessed plan. ULV dry fog is used in most cases where suitable, without promising coverage of unagreed rooms, belongings or concealed spaces.
4
Physically remove visible contamination
Professional H-class filtered equipment is used for removal. Discuss finish sensitivity and obstacles before work; repairing damage or moving every item is not assumed included.

5
Complete air cleaning and instructions
HEPA continues during and after treatment. Confirm who receives return advice and outstanding moisture or cosmetic questions, without assuming a written report or universal return time.
Give the entry contact useful surface details

Walls
Identify the exposed wall finish and fixed obstructions. A hidden patch requires another access discussion.

Ceilings
Describe overhead growth and wetting history from a safe position. Roof or plumbing repairs remain separate.

Bathrooms
Show structural bathroom areas and extraction observations. Towels and fabric items are excluded.

Kitchens
Identify exposed kitchen patches separately from cabinets and appliances. Plumbing concerns need a separate response.

Accessible affected surfaces
An exposed floor may be assessed within its material limits. Carpet and furnishings do not become included through an entry arrangement.
AFTER TREATMENT
Prepare the people as well as the room
Agree clearance, fragile belongings and entry before the appointment. People and pets leave during treatment; ensure the relevant occupants receive specific departure and return instructions. Three hours per room is average guidance, with actual work depending on extent and access; the entry contact should confirm arrangements. The service is not hourly based.
Cosmetic marks can remain and decorating is separately quoted. Ask what was treated and what still needs attention. The person returning to the property should not assume an excluded item or hidden area was cleared because someone else provided access for the visible work.
KEEP MOISTURE IN VIEW
Assign the follow-through to an informed contact
New wetting needs a person who can organise a separate repair or ventilation response. A key handover does not automatically settle that responsibility.
Record fresh dampness with dates and surface locations.
Maintain suitable extraction for steam-producing activities.
Arrange separate repairs where water entry continues.
Confirm who approves the proposed quotation
Give the authorised contact and visible scope when discussing pricing applicability. The room table is labelled Mould Removal. Do not assume the entry person can approve additional work or that a separate Remediation tariff is established.

Questions about remediation
Can a friend provide entry without approving every change?
Entry and approval are different roles. Identify who is authorised for scope decisions and how they can be contacted if a question arises.
Should the entry contact guess the leak history?
No. Pass on what is known and acknowledge gaps. Invented dates or causes are less useful than an honest account of the available information.
Who should receive departure and return advice?
The people using the property need the technician’s specific instructions. Agree how those instructions reach them before relying on a third-party entry arrangement.
Does supplying a key include shared-area permission?
No such permission follows automatically. Confirm authority for communal surfaces separately rather than adding them to a private-room enquiry.
Will the service supply a report for someone who is absent?
A written report is not confirmed. Explain the information needed before booking and clarify actual communication arrangements rather than assuming documentation.
Who follows up a continuing leak after the appointment?
Nominate the responsible repair contact. Remediation does not repair the source, so practical follow-through should not be left to an uninformed entry person.
